What is GEM™?
GEM™ is a developmental assessment that shows how people and organizations actually operate - not how they wish to operate. It is not a personality test and not a competency appraisal: it measures developmental logic, i.e. which decisions feel natural at a given stage. The framework describes 12 developmental levels and 9 domains of functioning.
What is the difference between GEM-PST™, GEM-CTR™ and GEM-ORG™?
GEM-PST™ (Personal Spiral Tool) is an individual developmental profile: decision-making patterns, leadership instincts, responses to complexity and stress. GEM-CTR™ measures critical thinking and reasoning across eight dimensions - including confidence calibration - and is not an IQ test. GEM-ORG™ (Organizational Maturity Model) assesses the developmental maturity of an organization or team across nine domains, from strategy to stakeholders.
How does the assessment work?
Via the gem.artman.si platform: you enter your e-mail and the access code you receive with your order. GEM-PST™ has 72 statements (short form) or 144 statements (long form) on a 1-5 scale; most participants complete it in one sitting. In GEM-CTR™ you also rate your confidence for each answer - it is part of the interpretation.
What do I get as a result?
A written report: your dominant developmental orientation, supporting patterns, growth edges, stress-regression indicators, and for organizations, domain profiles and team differences. Packages with a debrief also include a personal conversation about the results and priorities.
Does GEM™ rank or grade people?
No. The framework is explicitly not for performance appraisal, ranking or labeling - no level is wrong, each is contextually adaptive. Even temporary regression under pressure is treated as diagnostic information, not failure.
Are the results confidential?
Yes. Participation is voluntary, the purpose is transparent, individual results are confidential and are not used for punitive or HR-appraisal purposes. Organizational measurements report aggregated patterns.
How much does it cost?
Self-service assessments on the platform start at EUR 19. Packages with an AI report and a personal debrief: GEM-CTR™ from EUR 99, GEM-PST™ from EUR 119, GEM-ORG™ from EUR 159; the Complete Executive package (all three assessments, reports, a 1.5-hour debrief and a development plan) is EUR 329. What is the G-Methodology?
A framework that reads organizations as living systems: the organization is a garden, growth happens in stages, and results emerge from conditions, not slogans. It is documented in three books and received the GZS Regional Award for Best Innovations 2024.
Can I retake the assessment?
Yes - and a second measurement tells you far more than a single one. A sensible rhythm: first assessment, a period of practice or coaching (for GEM-CTR™ typically one to four weeks), re-test and pattern comparison.
Which languages and regions do you work in?
Slovenian, English and Albanian. Workshops run on-site or in Kranj; I work in Slovenia, the Balkans and EU markets.
